Bellows will get more than $800,000.00 in arbitration. Julien Gauthier got 800,000.00 and he performed much worse than Bellows this year. Bellows is closer in performance to Nick Paul. I don't think he gets that kind of money, but he'll be over $1.25 million in arbitration at the lowest.

BUF declines that trade. Their top-6 is shaping up from a youth build. Bailey doesn't fit for them for that price for two years in my opinion.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Gaudreau hit $10.5 million somewhere. I think he's the hottest UFA of the summer so that comes at a premium since any team other than CGY can't offer 8 years.

Okposo has been just fine without him
And he plays on our “checking line” for the most part now
And that’s not a fit for Bailey
Plus, inserting Bailey into the lineup means we’d have to take one of our talented kids out- and at this point in our rebuild, that’s just not what we’re looking to do

Even if u gave us Bailey for free, we’d just keep half his salary & try to flip him
I just don’t see us having any interest
