Instead of giving AZ all of that, just add it to the pens trade. I’d like to see faksa on the pens. He could probably do well here.

Here's what I don't understand... If traded for futures, Marino on his own is worth a 1st + Prospect, so it seems like we're paying you a 4th to take Heinen.

No way. Already have Carter and Blueger for bottom six

It’s 2 firsts basically. I can take out 4th— I’m a pens fan so wasn’t sure what Dallas would do exactly

I don’t see them trading Marino if Letang is looking at going elsewhere

Carter can move to wing since he is old and slow. Plus sully likes to have two centers on each line.

Talks have picked up with Letang per Elliotte Friedman

Yes, but we don’t have the salary cap.

Faksa's only fan was Bowness. There is a reason they want to dump him in AZ

I did. I was just talking about Benning on another thread. Hopefully didn't put Bowness instead of Benning. That Canucks fan will be even more confused than he already was. Haha

You just moved out 4.4 million. You can fit in 3.25 million lol

You need to sign a marino replacement (Lyubushkin) and pay Malkin Letang and Rakell.

It’s a pens fan making this. But he is good at faceoffs, good defensively, and hits. He’d be good for the bottom 6 and if Dallas pays us to take him on, why wouldn’t the pens do that?

Pens have like 25 million in cap space lol. Letang will want between 7-8. Let’s say 8 for Letang, 5 for Rakell. That leaves you 12 million for a 2 C, Marino replacement, and a backup goalie.
2.75 for Lyubushkin, 925k for Nylander, 925k for Joseph, 1.5 for DeSmith, 6.325 left for someone like Trocheck if Malkin doesn’t re-sign.

Guentzel-Crosby-Rakell
Zucker-Trocheck-Rust
O’Connor-Faksa-Carter
McGinn-Blueger-Zohorna
Nylander
Dumoulin-Letang
Matheson-Lyubushkin
Pettersson-Ruhwedel
Joseph-Friedman
Jarry
DeSmith

I’d move Zucker and Pettersson too. Depending on returns, Faksa could work. But I would really like to get Carter off this team

Carter wouldn’t waive for Dallas. Probably wouldn’t waive for anywhere but maybe LA. The pens don’t have to make 1 trade either. MP to LA seems like it could be a thing.

He's been pretty bad the last couple seasons. I watch a lot of Dallas games because my cousin is there. He likes to vent after games. Haha
