That’s a bad deal for Ottawa. Formenton is more valuable , younger and has more potential than Roy.

McNabb is a bottom 4 LD which is exactly what we don’t need. And we are trading a valuable RD prospect in Thomson who we need and a 2nd too

Try closer to $7,000,000 x 7 years for Mackenzie Weegar, You're not even close.

Hmmm, ever since the Nick Paul trade I've found the 3rd line to be the future weakest link but I get your point in rather losing prospects and picks they can sign those in free agency as those players are not hard to find. I'd think they package a trade for a top 6 winger and these prospects and picks might be involved in that case. RN i signed Nishy but he might stay with the Avs

My Top-9 and Top-4 if I am able to sign Nichushkin and Weegar

Nichushkin - Stutzle - Batherson
Tkachuk - Norris - Joseph
Formenton - Pinto - Brown

Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - Weegar

Drafting one of Kemell/Nemec/Jiricek/Lekkerimaki with the 7th OA pick

Greig won't take long before he starts claiming a spot here too

Weird, I find that to be the opposite, even though that has nothing to do with Paul gone

My 3rd line is Formenton - Pinto - Brown though, not sure what the Sens have in mind

I have one dream for this Sens roster, as an outsider I wanna see Nazar and Norris as a 1-2 punch. Nazar is an elite 1st line center and USNDTP is a very reliable program to base this off of. Here's some numbers in the program.

Auston Matthews ran a 30 goal 68 point campaign in 44 games with the program.
Jack Eichel was a 33 goal 72 pointer in 59 games
And a recent rookie to walk in with phenomenal completeness is Matthew Boldy with a 29 goal 78 pointer in 62 games

Frank Nazar is an elite player with 35 goals to be the highest scorer of all 3 above and 71 points in 55 games. Beyond the highest ceiling player available in this draft skillwise

ok I see that you're high on Nazar, but with Stutzle, Norris and Pinto, Sens don't really need a Center. They should draft a Winger or RHD

If teams in front of them take Savoie and Nazar, it means that one of Nemec or Jiricek will be available. I think Ottawa would be very happy with that
