It's not clear to me that New Jersey is going to extend Zacha his Qualifying Offer of $3 million, which is 50% more than Comtois' cap hit. Anaheim certainly won't.

That doesn’t seem to be enough for the Hawks, and I wouldn’t want to meet their asking price for just a year of Cat at that contract anyway

I think they are more likely to go for Gaudreau. I think their other moves will be for toughness

I agree, they will go for a big splash but then should add much needed toughness.

Still don't think the Ducks to that trade but FWIW Zacha is much better as a winger than center
