It's a very weak draft AFTER the #1 and #2 picks it sounds like. So the Flyers still have serious value there (if they choose to trade).. With the youth the Flyers have they maw start a mini-rebuild tho and keep the pick and maybe trade the jagoffs like Giroux

I just think the Flyers do not have 2-3 years to wait until Hischier or Patrick are being extremely productive. If you can trade the #2 plus whatever is needed for the likes of a MacKinnon/Eichel/Barkov/rights to Draisaitl to mention a few names. I not am saying this will ever happen from the other teams aspect but I think it is what would be best for the Flyers to contend now and for the next 5 years before Simmonds/Giroux/Voracek decline drastically

don't see AMac being worth giving up the pick. My ideal trade would be with EDM and I posted it elsewhere. Drai/1st for our 1st and I'd do it.

Honestly, I would take the rights to Draisaitl (assuming he agrees to a contract extension) for the #2. I think Edmonton is not going to be able to afford all the young stars eventually

Honestly, there's no way the Oilers would do that. Draisaitl gets a first round pick and more on his own. He was a 3rd overall pick, is 21 and already has 137 point in the NHL. He's worth way more than moving up in the draft to get a player that is probably on par with him anyway.

You misunderstood us. Nobody is saying that is what he is worth, but that is about what the Flyers should be looking for if they are moving that pick. Otherwise it makes zero sense for them to move the #2 pick for nothing...

**IF** the Flyers wanted to trade it, and presumably want a D man (otherwise why would they trade it?) Anaheim would be an ideal target. They get a dynamic centre/winger for 3 years of <1 mil to their cap. In return I think the flyers could fetch Fowler/Vatanen/Manson due to ANA's expansion draft issues.
