Isles would take that deal gladly but don't see Ottawa doing it.

Any team would take Turris for a 3rd liner and a 3rd round pick... which is why he won't be traded for that lol. This is a mind boggling trade idea. Why wouldn't Turris be traded for a defenseman if Methot is taken?
Also Pageau is not a 3.5M player. I think he gets under Smith money. I'd also resign Stalberg well before PA Parenteau.

For sure less the Smith Smith was a more proven player and had back to back seasons nearing or above 20 goals
