Detroit declines.

Wagner is a pure cap dump and DeBrusk is no better than what we already have and he doesn't play both sides as Zadina does. We'd rather keep Zadina another year and see how he developes.

Detroit 100% declines, Both DeBrusk and Wagner are of no use to us. I'll take Zadina over that package any day of the year. Zadina and Vrana have excellent chemistry together.

Performance bonuses count against the salary cap; however, a team can exceed the salary cap due to performance bonuses by the maximum performance bonus cushion amount of 7.5 percent of the upper limit.

Whether he scores more or less than Zadina is irrelevant.

What's relevant is if he scores better than the roster players we already have and he doesn't do that. DeBrusk would be a bottom-6 winger on todays Detroit team and we're not trading away a 22 year old kid that's cost controlled for 5 more years for two years of an expensive bottom-6 player and a cap dump.

Idk, I like a lot of what debrusk has. He plays up tempo and when he's on he's on. He's basically fabbri but more durable. I'd think about it.

Bull****!

Bertuzzi scores 0.92 points per game
Raymond 0.75
Vrana 0.88
Larkin 1.01
Seider 0.63
Fabbri 0.54

DeBrusk scores 0.54 points per game. He's tied for 6th with Detroit players whereof one is a rookie defenseman.
