      Meszaros is a good possession guy but I think a crazy injury-prone dman is the last thing the Pens would want to pay for.

      Maybe so, but for salary purposes that may be the way to go. Absolutely have to do something about the defensive depth and it doesn't make sense to do so at the trade deadline when we will have to give up more assets than we can afford to get rid of.
