AVS decline. I'm tempted by the Barzal trade. Make the 1st be in 2023 and I think I'd do it. I don't think the Isles would.

You can’t even begin to form an argument as to why that would make sense for the islanders or the aves.

Detroit says no thanks to that trade. Bertuzzi and a 2nd for Barzal may work but that is a massive overpayment for Barzal. He has barely been a point per game guy since 2018 an hasn't progressed into a number 1 C. I find it interesting how Islanders fans think its not even close. Bertuzzi has been a better player over the past few years and in this offer Detroit is adding a two top prospects and another 1st.

Detroit definitely needs to add for the Girard trade to happen.
