You do realize that Byram would be your best defenseman right? Like hes better than Hughes today (when healthy)

we would have little interest in Jost we have a few same players. word is we are keeping Miller.Byram is also injured last i read not sure about his future.He is also a lefty.Our need is a young stud RD to play with Hughes.No fit here.

disagree Byram has had concussion issues which lower is value as he is most likely missing the year, as it's been reported it's going to take alot to pry Miller out of van pre TDL

Byram would be more than a lot. When he was playing he was one of the best players on the avs. This would be the time to try to get him though still highly unlikely. A healthy Byram is about as untouchable as any player in the league. If Rathbone had to go back that certainly would not crush the deal.

the issue is he is not, he is having concussion issues. he may very well turn out to be the next Nolan Patrick

Nolan Patrick was never good iin the NHL though. And he is playing currently. Lots of guys deal with concussion issues and it is def a difficult one but as I say Byram is about as gettable as McDavid if he's healthy, even with conky you aren't saying no because a deal includes Rathbone who incidentally has no path into our top 4.
