Rarely follow too many Sharks threads, but I'm genuinely curious to see how the Kane contract ends up getting handled. If you guys end up being on the hook for some of that, it could be rough.

looks like right now it will be a settlement but it will be off the books. not sure how that works but i’m happy a put it lol

from what i’ve heard from the settlement proceedings, mostly hearsay to be honest, but if there is any settlement it will be off the books. not sure how that works but that’s from an NHL official but i can’t quote it because I can’t remember where I saw it. but it was a report with sharks beat writer Sheng Penguin and someone from the commissioners office
