Philly is attempting to rebuild... why would they offer up 2 first rounds for a team that is going to be going no where?

Forget the bad season he has with coach Ducharme. Look on what he did from the moment it's St-Louis who's the coach. 5 point in 6 last game .

Also Petry is NOT a first dman but because there so much injury on Habs roster he's defacto #1 and that is not a place where he love to shine long time. He could do it for 5 to 10 match maybe but not over a full season.

At March 18, 2021, there was talk by alot of expert talking about potential Norris candidature for Petry. If I remember well for the last 4 season he's in top 10 most productive dman .

But your right I don't understand why would both team trade here. Flyer and Habs are rebuilding so doing this trade seen counter productive for Flyer and Habs because they gave draft pick for one guys.
