Description

Essentially selling cap space right here. I'm sure Washington will make a huge push to sign Shattenkirk this offseason and will need to offload some players to do so. The cost of that will be Madison Bowey. At the same time, acquiring a team's top RHD prospect comes at a price. Leipsic's a solid prospect and the third is the sweetener.

I would be very down for this, however I'm not sure WSH is interested in trading Bowey. The only reason I assume this is they're going to be losing some defenseman to FA soon so he'll be a cheap replacement

there is probably a deal to made for orpik as you suggest. bowey might be too much too pay for the caps. orpik and 1.5m retained for leipsic or leivo. both are questionable nhl players.
