Agreed, but Schneider isn't available. You would have to take Lundqvist if you want a young RD. If you're stuck on Schneider or no trade, then its no trade.

Most jets fans are stuck on Schneider because he fits our biggest need (Top young right shot d). And Mark Scheifele fits the Rangers top need, top line centre. The trade makes sense for both teams.

Only for this very moment in time, not long term. Schneider is in the long term plans for the Rangers, as Trouba's replacement in a few years, so he isn't available, period. I get why you want him, and why Hab fans and Canuck fans want him, and its the same reasons the Rangers aren't going to trade him.
