I wonder if this is realistic.. with fleury wanting to move to toronto for a run for another cup.. Toronto can sign a free agent goalie as campbell's back up or move up woll

You’re about a quarter of the way to getting chychrun by himself, let alone adding crouse. This is laughable highway robbery

First of all, I'd recommend you use the quote feature to reply to other people. Not a criticism, just a tip for using the forum.

Second of all, the price for Hagel is a 1st and a good prospect. Even then, I'm hesitant to trade him due to his amazing deal. Fleury will cost you a 1st, but we'll take back cap to help make it work (part of the reason why Koskinen + 1st for Fleury was so popular a few month back). You offer a 2nd, which would be a sweetener unless we're talking, like, Amirov, Mikheyev, who has no value to the Hawks due to his age (we're trying to get younger), and Mrazek, who has basically no value due to his mediocre performance and cap hit.

Third of all, the Chychrun trade isn't close, I just realized. Ritchie and Holl are negative assets, you'd need to pay a 2nd to dump them. Starting price is probably Amirov, another great prospect (or two good ones), a 1st (not really that valuable since it'll be late), and a 2nd.

Dude, you're making Leaf fans look bad.

ARI - You're giving them 2 cap dumps and a first (plus a couple inconsequential picks) for 50% retained long term on a guy that they want the equivalent of 4 firsts for. And then you throw in Crouse.
CHI - You're giving them 2 cap dumps and a second for a Stanley cup winning starter and a guy whos sign for a few more years at a great cap hit.

So TOR gives up nothing and get the world is what this trade is suggesting.
