Ottawa being a budget team probably don't want that Big Buffalo contract.. could get really bad in a few years. I'm thinking they might want Ehlers over Connor? Though I don't know ottawa that much

My Sens have had Karlsson in their lineup for years and has not achieved winning results. To give up so much doesn't really the Jets that much if at all.

Ottawa is getting there. Why make this deal? I think they are 1 elite center away from doing some damage. They need to find Anderson's successor and increase their blueline depth. Also, if they can unload Ryan's contract too.

Kind of a ridiculous statement. Not achieving 'winning results' is not the fault of any one player. For a while methot and Karlsson were their only top 4 D. Almost every GM would give their right nut to have Karlsson on their team. He has 2 norris's and he's still growing his game, it's incredible really. As a Sens fan, there are very few deals I would trade him in, maybe none.
