No reason for Boston to do that unless they are insanely tight in cap space.

Can't see Carolina selling necas. They should be able to sign him long term although they have some interesting off-season decisions. I'm for anything that adds to the left D at this point.

I really don’t think Carolina considers that. Zadina, I personally have always had a fondness for, but he has struggled quite a bit at the NHL level. I don’t know about that prospect, and the 2nd rounder doesn’t move the needle much. If Necas were to be traded to the Wings, Waddell would be asking high at Raymond (which I know won’t happen, but that would be his asking price). Ultimately, a package of Zadina, a unprotected first, and a B+ prospect might get the Canes to consider moving Necas, but I just don’t see them moving Necas.

That is entirely way too much for a 34yr old defenseman. I wouldn't trade Tuomisto for Martinez 1 for 1.

I would send McIsaac but that's all.

Big pass from Detroit / Vegas trade. The Boston trade might be ok but probably requires a 2nd or a 3rd. Not sure about Carolina.

Carolina tells you where to shove it. I can answer that for you. Unless he's in a package for someone like Raymond, Seider, Larkin, someone like that, Carolina won't move Necas. He was a non-starter in an Eichel deal. He was a non-starter in a Laine deal. This is a joke in comparison.
