Lol

So you want offers from the Stars?

First I need to know which assets you like

Didn't we just go through something like this like yesterday lol?

Anyway, something that comes to mind

Washington Capitals
John Klingberg
Denis Gurianov

Dallas Stars
Hendrix Lapierre
Vincent Iorio
Justin Schultz
Carl Hagelin
2022 1st round pick (WSH)

Acquiring Pavelski for a 3C role is a complete waste and just not worth its price honestly.

We do this twice a week. The reason for pavs s for the powerplay and for the playoffs. It’s about Winning two cups

Fair enough, although frankly I don't think even these kind of moves make WSH a cup favorite, and re-signing the assets is pretty much impossible in their cap situation.

I'm not opposed to it. Sucks to lose Gurianov but we can gain so much from here.

Well Holtby is not in the exchange, and I don't see him returning to WSH anymore. Could be wrong though.

Re-signing Klingberg and Gurianov would cost above $11M. I don't think WSH has the cap.

If we get rid of eller, hags, and denis signs 4 by 5 and Klingberg 7 by 6. It will be fine. Which will be 11 mil. I said holtby for vitek.

I think Gurianov takes $3M x 2 and Klingberg takes $8M x 7.

I’m thinking of the pavs deal and I did this.

Dallas Stars
Pavs 50%
2022 second round pick

Washington Capitals

Mantha
Sprong

If we are moving the guys like Klingberg and Pavelski we shouldn't move picks too. Value probably favors us here but the return isn't desirable in terms of their retooling status.

Something like this perhaps?

Washington Capitals
Joe Pavelski ($3,500,000 salary retained)

Dallas Stars
Nick Jensen
Aliaksei Protas
2023 1st round pick (WSH)

Would Jensen have space in your roster after Klingberg acquisition though?

Not a fan of moving Pavs for basically two third rounders, despite Johnson's stock being in the upgrade.

Yes. He would be on the bottom pair. But is still very good and having a great year

Well that's a problem, because in order for you to re-sign the assets brought in here they'd need to ship a contract that is inked for next year to Dallas, and I don't think there's anyone else interesting enough but Jensen.
