Imagine the delight McDavid would have knowing he was traded out of Edmonton and back east. Imagine the horror McDavid would have knowing his goalies on his new team are Matt Murray, Malcolm Subban and Mike Smith. Edmonton is now looking pretty good.

When Lindros got traded it cost 11players (players and picks).
McDavid to be traded, same kind of deal

That’s insane he got that many pieces. I knew it was a lot but I would have said 6pieces. Didn’t know hockey at the time but I know about the trade. Just wow.
