I love it but WPG doesn't have any reason to deal their 1C.

Actually wouldn’t mind this trade. Dubois really should be our 1C, and Perfetti is just about ready to be 2C. A Heinola-Lundkvist long term top pair is also very intriguing. But I don’t think this organization would ever trade Scheifele

Definitely think scheifele is the smartest target for the rangers window considering he’s signed for three years. He’s great on faceoffs, gives the rangers a really solid 1-2 punch. The next three years are really the rangers cup window before the vets get too old.

For the following year, move laffy up with Scheifele and Panarin, have barron/goodrow/prospect/cheap free agent play 3c, resign Rooney to another minimum deal if possible for 4c.

What worries me most is that third pairing d but they looked really good last night. I would like to see Schneider over hajek tho long term with Jones on the left side.

I can’t imagine this is possible(WPG) but if it is…. Heck ya! Add a 2nd or 3rd and I’m still happy. Not that we aren’t giving up a lot but it fits perfectly for us.

Maybe in the last year of Scheifele's contract the Jets will look at moving him, but not now. Unless he asks to be moved.

Doubt they move Scheifele. Pavs starts with a first round pick or a better prospect imho

Scheifele is definitely the player I’d be moving if I was Chevy, but I’d be looking for proven top 6 RW in return, and that’s not here.
Jets window is now, and there’s nothing here that helps them right now on their biggest need..RW.
Lundkvist is really nice, but sorry… I’d decline.

That’s actually a pretty nice package and doesn’t need retention. I’d probably change the 4th to a 3rd. DAL won’t be in full rebuild mode so I don’t see them spending to get higher picks

It would start with Hendrix I’m sure. This years 1st. The rest I’m not sure off as I don’t know WPG needs that great

It’s fine overall value, but imo there isn’t enough quality in the trade. Henriksson isn’t a strong enough prospect to make me not want a first round pick as the main piece in a return for Pavs. And if we’re selling we should absolutely be retaining on him to get the maximum value. His contract is up after this year, so there’s no long term retention to worry about

Absolutely should is one thing. Buts paying 3M in cash to upgrade 30 spots in a draft is kind out to lunch unless it’s for a 1OA pick that will be game changer

Just so you know, during his final year you will not get a package as good as this. Probably the 1st and kravtsov at best.

Yeah RW the rangers are lacking in.. honestly this is really just IF wpg decided to try and get a bit younger— they already have good centers outside of Scheifele and have Perfetti coming up soon so. If wpg doesn’t view kravtsov as a potential top six right winger I’m sure an additional 1st can be thrown in but then you are talking more of a full rebuild for them since prospects take time to develop

Lol. I think the Jets can take their chances and wait. A 30 year old 1C, easily gets more than that.

Now, definitely. A by then turning 32 year old pending UFA good for only one playoff run, you are not going to get anything close to the value you are thinking.
