Description

Explanation: Toronto get an elite RHD, a promising 2nd Line winger to compliment Matthews plus the sweetner pick. Carolina receive an A level rookie that would fit their young speedy creative play with guys like Aho, Lindholm and Rask. They also receive a very good gritty 3rd line guy as well as a B+ level prospect plus the 2nd.

the lines now are that TML keep the JVR-Boz-Marner line, then have Matthews play with an experienced scoring RW and a two way young LW ( could put Hyman as well) Third line is for Kapenen to mature with Kadri and Komarov. Then the 4th line is for the Kids. You got the Goat, Brown and Hyman all got a season under their belts and able to play good minutes still.

I don't think Faulk is a fit. The leafs need a defensive-minded defenseman. Nylander is untouchable I can't see Toronto giving him up. Toronto should be trying to target Tanev, Hamonic or Trouba.

Why would you trade Nylander? Pretty much a guarantee you will regret the trade in like 2 years....
As others said, Faulk isn't who the leafs should be targeting
