Sorry, but in my opinion, Johansson is a superstar. In my opinion that's way too much for hoffman.

That's a SEVERE overpayment for Duchene and Hoffman.

You're giving up a top pairing dman, a potential top pairing dman, and a 1st for a top line player (Duchene).

Then you give up a top 6 player, a potential top 6 player, a goalie prospect, and 1st for a top 6 player (Hoffman)

I do agree that the Duchene trade is much, but the Hoffman trade isn't too bad. You've overrated Barber by a lot. He maxes out for us as a third liner, absolute best case. More likely is he's a poor man's Joel Ward. We have so many good goalie prospects that we can afford to move Carlson and Vanecek, as long as we still have Samsonov.
