Well i kind of made this game so why is everyone breaking a simple rule of making expansion trades? If someone tries to make an expansion trade i will comment on it and say that they are not allowed to do that yet.

You can IF we find something that says that they want to re-sign AND you sign them for a price that is not too unlikely to happen.
Can we make a thread and sticky it saying when the Dates of events are? It seems like these dates haven't been finalized yet and are still being talked about, but we should be starting in the next 2 to 4 weeks. Maybe make a new thread and just post the date / time of each event that we're doing so everyone can start planning for that and have the trades they want to make before each event done by then.

So as far as Thornton and Marleau go, they would both probably want to resign. Marleau is a Shark for life, and Jumbo has been there so long that I'd assume he'd want to resign, especially since they can get one last run at the Cup

That doesn't make sense. We can't do our own UFA signings and follow the league's UFA signings.

With RFAs we decide they will re-sign because they probably will.
How does holding the draft on May 6th sound? It would be exactly 1 week after the April 29th draft lottery. This will give teams time to do research (if they want to) and trade their picks if they want.
