Why does everyone trade Gaudreau? He will never go anywhere and this doesn't make sense for Calgary

Not sure if I agree with "he will never go anywhere" Johnny wants to play in the east and be closer to home... they have tried to hide this but once he is an UFA he will be gone so Calgary will "at some point" have to send him east... Only question is what will it take to get him... and when will he be traded?
