Thats a pretty fair package in terms of value bc Hagelin is pretty good, but I wouldnt be a fan of moving duchene for Maatta, I just dont think hes going to turn into a true Top 4 Dman. Not his fault, but too many obstacles have gone his way to really hurt his development and I dont see him as being the D center piece moving Duchene for

Add Kessel and Letang on that PP1, just imagine the damage.

For arguments sake let's say Hagelin and Maatta go in a deal for Duchene.. The Penguins would then sign and protect Schultz while probably leaving Daley to go to FA. Just a thought.. Protected players would be:

Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Duchene, Hornqvist, Rust, Kunitz (or another young guy, whatever).. Then Letang, Dumo, and Schultz.. Then deal with Fleury one way or another and protect Murray..

I'd take the Duchene deal in a second, just also thinking that it's unlikely that Schultz goes to Vegas..
