The price for Pettersson is probably dead on, but like you said, not sure if MTL would be interested. I'm sure it all hinges on the future of Chiarot.

I don't think Seattle does that trade. Blackwell just had a better season than Zucker and is cheaper for the moment.

The Tampa trade? I think there's something there. I feel it needs to be tweaked, but not sure how. My guess is Bolts fans will say no way because of Foote and I don't think Hextall moves a 2nd at this point even though it means getting two firsts.

Buffalo... I think yo'd have lower the price to a 3rd unless Jarry has a strong season.

The Boston trade looks good IMO, but obviously that depends on what Boston's needs are come the deadline.

I think the Florida trade is fair, but I suspect FLA fans will cry.

My first thought was "Really? You're that pessimistic?"

My second thought was say goodbye to Malkin, Letang, some fans and Sid's good attitude.

The Pens chances are not great this year since Geno will likely be out at least a month, possibly two, plus the defense took a hit losing Ceci. Add on the fact we don't have McCann anymore and our depth has taken a rough hit.

Fair enough, just surprised me.

Is that really Dumoulin's price? Every time I ask what he is worth, Pens fans become mysterious and say his price is high... so high we wouldn't want him. That is a fair deal!

Yeah, it's going to be a weird year and honestly it's hard to gauge. EVERY team in the Metro took a step back aside from NJ who actually made savvy moves, so everything could stay relative.

I don't think that's a cheap price. Tippet had a respectable showing in his rookie year and has lots of room to grow, so I think him and 2nd is pretty fair, but the more I think about it they can probably get more. I think a 1st + Tippet seals it for sure.

Why wouldn't it be an all in for the last of Crosby, Malkin & Letang?

I don't think that's a cheap price either. Tippett seems likely to hit his ceiling of being a great top6 forward. However, Dumoulin would be a perfect fit for the Panthers on the 1st pairing with Ekblad, and the Panthers are really deep on the wing. Dumoulin would certainly push the Panthers into an undebatable contender-status.

I'm not sure if a TDL trade could get Tippett and a 1st, though, as then Dumoulin has only 1 1/2 years left on his deal. If the Pens traded him before the season, for sure.
