Just to be official, McDonnell is now no longer a Lightning prospect.
Since he has to go back to the draft, I think it's safe to say we simply just didn't even offer him a contract.

In other news, I have finally finished cataloging my clips on all of our prospects this year. Thankfully McDonnell's teams weren't the best at posting highlights, so I didn't spend too much on him compared to others.

Well, this feels like the end of my prospect news for this season.
Here is the end of season assessment

I don't think we'll see anything short-term on Guttman or Walker, and any re-signing or draft stuff will be offseason discussion. So, thanks to anyone who read my 3AM thoughts on our prospects this past year tears of joy

Huuhtanen is going pro... In Europe

He's not AHL eligible next season and WHL Everett is losing quite a bit of talent this offseason, so probably the right move to stay competitive. We'll have to see if this is a multi year thing or a one year hold until he can join Syracuse.

I should state that MacDonald and the Sea Dogs are the first team to have clinched a spot in the memorial cup final.

MacDonald hasn't scored but has been>50% in the face off circle every game so far as the 3C.

Prospect news refuses to die after I unofficially ended it for the season.

Jones isn't really a prospect, but with Day and Carlile likely being LD starters in Syracuse next season too, I would guess Semykin plays the final year of his ELC mostly in Orlando.
We just haven't seen any meaningful development in his play, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he chooses to return to Russia as his future doesn't look to be in NA.

And a hypothetical D-core of:
Day - Raddysh
Carlile - Perbix
Jones - Thompson

would be very good for the Crunch. Need to re-sign Raddysh though.

Out of nowhere Cam MacDonald and the Saint John Sea Dogs are the Memorial Cup champions.
MacDonald had a goal and 2 assists in the Final.

I believe he is our first M-Cup victor since Sergachev won with Windsor in 2017.
