Manson is the Ducks shut down guy they wouldn't trade him. The MTL trade makes a lot of sense. Also I don't think you'd have to add to get Doan, Lazar has been a bust.

Cool, I don't watch enough ANA games so didn't know that. I was only looking at it from a expansion draft where Manson was not getting protected.

As for Lazar, former first rounder and Doan being sent on a rental so OTT I'm guessing will want more. Maybe one of those trades where IF Doan re-signs with OTT they don't get the pick. (NOTE: It's really protection for Doan re-signing back with Arizona as a UFA)
