No reason for any of these teams to do any of those trades. Upgrading Hanzal to Kruger isn't worth Pokka, a first and a second (if you say it's about the salary cap, Chicago doesn't care right now, they'll do that in the offseason). The only thing that Doan really provides the Sharks is leadership, which they already have plenty of. Columbus isn't in salary trouble, and they won't be for a while. Clarkson's contract really doesn't mean anything to them. Calgary trades their goalie of the future and two firsts for just a goaltending upgrade that doesn't give them the salary to go target Bishop in free agency. Pittsburgh would rather have Fleury than Elliot as insurance in the playoffs, and they don't care that they'll have to buy him out and the end of the season. Vrbata isn't worth a first round pick from Washington, especially since they don't need another forward. If LA wanted Burmistrov, they would've claimed him off of waivers. And there is no sense in this Virtanen trade with Vancouver whatsoever
