Description

Strome wants out of Chicago and Fleury won’t play for us so we trade them for Jarry (who could back up Lankinen) and we get a first back in case the conditions in the Seth Jones trade aren’t met

I know Chicago will have to retain salary on Fleury I want to know how much.

It'll have to be 50%.

I like the idea, but we're still stuck with Jarry for $7M in cap. That's a really bad idea. It's still better IMO to terminate MAF's contract. We have $7M in cap to go get Saad or someone else. Go talk to MAF over the summer. It's not like Toews/Kane don't want to win.

i really like this idea. retain 50%. ya its the same cap hit this year, but we get our 1st rounder back, and a ok goalie for next year. takes a bit of sting of the jones trade of the 1st rounders away. im done with strome, and pitts needs cheap high potential players. i'd 100% do this if i was bowman.
