Savard should get closer to $4.5-5 on the open market though.

"In this economy" is a weird excuse, when plenty of players have still gotten paid "In this economy". I don't know...the Bolts gave up a pretty good haul to get him in the first place. There will likely be a number of teams that try to pick him up.

Yeah it is an overpayment. Gostisbehere should definitely not be part of the deal. The Ducks don't need another LD.

1st + Ratcliffe would be a better deal

I'd take it, or Rubtsov+1st. Does that screw up the Flyers protection for expansion draft though?

No Idea. I'm a Ducks fan too. If yes, they should try to trade him to another team. But I mean he was put on Waivers so maybe they don't care if they lose him (don't know tho) .

Ghost? Yeah, I'm sure Philly wouldn't mind moving on from him, but I also think we can take player values w/regards to waivers this year with a grain of salt.

They could trade him before the expansion draft but I don't really know their situation. But he doesn't fit on the Ducks
