Columbus doesn't need to give up a draft for hiring Torts and the Islanders are giving up way too much for Tanev. And how are the Sharks gonna have enough cap space for Miller when they're spending so much on Thorton, Marleau, Couture and Burns?

Columbus does have to give a 2nd round pick for Tortorella either this year or next! And Boedker makes 4 mill at trade deadline absorbing the extra 2 mill for Miller is doable but if not retain the 2 mill

Right you are. Regardless though, why would SJ go out and get Miller though? They have Jones and its not like hes unproven, they went to the cup finals last year with him.

If Jones goes down so does their playoffs ! Same in Anaheim look at last night with Gibson! Dell in SJ or Bernier in Anh aren't going to win you a cup

How many teams would be screwed if their number one goalie went down? 99% of them. If they want they can upgrade the backup position with a capable goalie but it isn't going to cost them Boedker and a 3rd to do it.
