Description
Let me know if any trade is unfair or makes no sense. Same goes with any signings. This is what I would try to do.

Trades
1.
CGY
SEA
  1. Kylington, Oliver [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Seattle signs Derek Ryan in FA, Kylington is the selection in the expansion draft, not too big of a loss now that Mackey jumped him in the depth chart.
2.
CGY
  1. Chytil, Filip [RFA Rights]
  2. Skinner, Hunter
  3. 2021 4th round pick (OTT)
NYR
  1. Monahan, Sean
Additional Details:
Rangers have been on the hunt for a center, but Kuznetsov is not the best option, and Eichel might be too much to ask for. Monahan isn't bad, he was injured this year but CGY needs to make a change. Two solid young players and a late-round pick seems fair to me, definitely let me know if it's not enough, too much, or just right.
3.
CGY
  1. 2023 6th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Cheap depth piece. Draft pick is conditional, if Simon plays at least 30 games for leafs the 6th is transferred, if not no pick is transferred.
TOR
  1. Simon, Dominik [RFA Rights]
4.
BOS
  1. Feuk, Lucas [Reserve List]
  2. 2022 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Bruins have great depth at defense, Flames could use a 6th/7th defenseman. Give a late pick and low-level prospect. The 5th rounder can be conditional, if Clifton plays 41 games, the pick turns into a 4th rounder.

How does a late pick and a low level prospect help boston more than Clifton?

My thought was that it would give Urho Vaakanainen a spot to come in as I think he's ready and also it makes it so Clifton doesn't just fall down the depth chart or leave for nothing eventually. I could definitely be wrong about Vaakanainen though, and I completely understand why this wouldn't go through.

Well Clifton plays the right side for the most part (though he does play both), so Vaak isn’t necessarily blocked by him. Given how many injuries teams face, and how important Clifton has been in the playoffs this year, I’m guessing that the bruins would value him way way more than a late pick and low prospect. One of his primary talents is being able to sit out for a month and step in and be effective. Thats harder than many think. Even though his value is way below this, i’m guessing it takes a 2nd to pry him from boston. A 5th round pick and a low prospect doesn’t offset the possibility of playing a dman you don’t want to play in the playoffs.

Clifton is the epitome of team guy...no trade.

Plays hard, sits, plays hard again.
No whine, no drama, CF$ contract, RD undersized w/ huge heart - personifies depth and team-1st-player..
