Eichel will cost more, Varly has a NTC and won't waive to go to edmonton and IDK why seattle would want leddy

At the very least Wahlstrom needs to come back.

Probably right about Eichel, I thought about another 1st rounder,
I thought Varly might waive it to be a full time starter which is in doubt with Sorokin emerging,
I am not sure who else Seattle would take and why wouldn't they want Leddy, he had 30 points this year and their other options is probably Bailey.

That's not gonna come close to getting you Eichel

Don't really see a package that would make sense with NYI to trade Eichel.

Realistically, it would start with barzel

Start with Barzal? Barzal > Eichel.

I don’t like any of these moves lol. Leddy has been awesome this season and I think he should be kept on the roster. I don’t think the upgrade from Nelson to Eichel is worth Beau, Wilde plus a 1st and 2nd. I am fine with giving up Varly but his NTC makes it difficult to think we would be getting a 1st back.

Barzel is not better than Eichel

Luckily I can say that with certainty.

That’s fine but they are not that far off from each other. The trade doesn’t make sense for either team. The Islanders have 4 good centers and don’t need to trade futures to upgrade that position. The Sabers are not going to want a pricey vet like Brock or Pageau. They instead I am sure would like to get as much value as possible by trading him to a team in need of a 1C and can get a **** ton of picks and prospects to build around.

That was what I intially said, I don't see it making any sense for the sabres to move eichel to NYI.

Pieces don't work.

Hesitant to give up firsts as an OIlers fan but getting a true starter is enticing. He probably wouldn't waive to come to Edmonton though.
