What was the point of this trade for Dallas at the time?, why give so much up for a player who was at the back end of his career and a guy who would leave for Europe like 3 years later? I don’t believe Jaroslav Modry had a deadweight contract as he was dealt to Philadelphia for a 3rd round pick

This is something I've wanted to bring to a moderators attention for a while: why can't threads like these be ACGM's? It makes it easier to understand them for me.

I'm under the impression its to reduce the clutter in the AGM section and because such discussions would be easier to find in the respective subforums.

That's a fair point, ACGM's do get lost quickly based on how many there are.
