Ok Hab's fans, you pesetered Wing's fans all last summer with the crappy Domi for Mantha trades.

Please stop with the Drouin trades, Yzerman and Drouin have a BAD history dating back to their time in TB. There is ZERO chance Stevie takes on Drouin and Veleno is a promising center who Wing's scouts said played very well in Sweden.

So please not this summer.

The offers ranged from Domi, Mete and a 2nd, Mete and 2 2nds, or Domi straight up. We recieved a better player in Vrana, Panick who is a depth player and two picks, one being a 1st, how do those compare?

Domi has done nothing in Columbus and Mete can not break into the lineup. Yzerman got alot more than any Hab's fans were offering by a mile

Not even close. We got an INFINTIELY better return, than 95% of the AGMs that Montreal fans presented.
I couldn't see this trade happening either, but Yzerman would have to take it if it were presented. I'm sure Yzerman could then flip Drouin for other assets as well and the cumulative assets would be worth more than Veleno, even with how much I like him.

Vrana has 31 points and is positive with both Wings and Caps, Domi has 21 points and is a minus 17 with a team who preaches defense. Domi and Vrana are not compatible and Panick versus Byron are a wash. Though I would rather have Panick then Byron. Your trade is still not as good as the one Washington gave Yzerman.

Vrana is 25yrs old and has never scored more than 52pts. Domi is 26 and has scored 52 his rookie year and 72 a few years ago... tell me again how you think they aren't relatively comparable?

and yes Panik is cheaper and one year younger and has had one season of 20+ goals, Byron has had 2 and 15g in 56 games 2 years ago... tell me again how Panik as a cap dump isn't similar to Byron?

At this rate Vrana will hit 20g for the 3rd straight season and Drouin had A 20g season back in the 2016-17. Even if there was no bad blood between Drouin and Yzerman he's not worth Vrana or Bertuzzi. But Drouin is worth about Domi, he has a couple more points this season but he also get about 2 more minutes a game than Domi does.

That's nice. All i'm saying is homer fans think they're players are worth way more than the value they actually hold. I wasn't comparing Drouin to Vrana I was saying Domi has similar or better numbers than Vrana... and both were cast out by their former teams, so it's quite an easy comparison even tho redw1n9s won't like to admit it.

Ok I agree they have similar numbers and Domi's ppg is about .10 higher than Vrana's. Domi's numbers are steadily falling while Vrana's continue to rise. Plus Domi has averaged a full 3 minutes more of ice time a game. With out Larkin, Bertuzzi, Fabbri and Ryan and those 4 player account for about 30% of Detroit's goals this season. Vrana will probably get all the ice time he wants. Since their numbers are close would take Domi over Vrana?

Oh of course, I never said the opportunity wasn't there for him to succeed. But until he proves he can put up a 65-75pt season on a team not as stacked as Washington, (and in detroit my guess is he'll be leaned on heavily), I will continue to disagree with those certain wings fans who believe domi is a steaming pile of turd and vrana isn't just another martin havlat...
