Savard is a good add.

Rakell is not an improvement on kerfoot on the LW.

I have trouble believing that the upgrade Savard plays over Holl is both worth a second and worth not having Holl for the bargain of 2 mil for the next two years.

Problem with Holl is that he is inconsistent. I personally don't like him outside of Muzzin., but adding Savard could provide the Leafs with insurance if Muzzin goes down during the playoffs.

Points wise, maybe not, but in terms of fitting the Leafs needs, I think it is

He is no more inconsistent from any other second pairing d I've seen. He's played well when muzzin was injured in the past and with other partners.

I think on a team with cap issues his bargain contract has huge value

To me if i had an unlimited budget for this run like the leafs do I'd get a good 3C and play kerfoot on the wing.

He is under appreciated for how defensively sound the Blue Jackets are. The Leafs need more defensively minded players. We will be more than happy to take him off your hands

That is just a weird opinion. Holl has been really good all year.

He's been great with Muzzin, no doubt. Outside of Muzzin is where the issues lies (he did not look confident or good with Dermott at all)
