So Toronto trades one good player and 2 medicore players for 2 good players and 1 medicore player. Seems like a typical Leaf post.

So umm...what's with the generalizations about all us "typical" Leafs fans lately man? I thought you were above the pettiness.

Sorry, but over the last two weeks I have seen alot of ridiculous Leaf trades where the give the other team the crappy end of the stick. Not all Leaf post are bad but lately the post on here are really bad. I know the fan base wants a cup, I have been there. I remember when the Wings were on the cusp of winning a cup but were just short. I heard crazy Wings fans talk about trading for elite players and giving up nothing.

There is no way Nashville makes this deal trade, they could do better splitting them up, to different teams.

Again I am sorry. But some of these trades are laughable and make zero.sense for the other teams.

This deal favours Nashville in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, Arvidsson and Ekholm are great players with high value, but Nylander is the best player in this deal and it's not even close. He's probably worth slightly more than Ekholm and Arvidsson combined (since it seems like Ekholm is going to get a Muzzin like return, and Arvidsson... Kapanen type return maybe?). Then since Kerfoot and Dermott>Granlund due to UFA, you get a trade which favours Nashville. Anyway, just my thoughts. Like too hear why you think. Just don't see how it favours Toronto personally.
