Probably not. Don't think you guys should either. Better off going after one of their young solid lefty defenseman. Would be better for you too. Maybe a Jake bean, Hayden fleury, or Noah Hannifan. They have a lot of really good lefty and not super great righties other than faulk. And it makes sense for you guys to go after he lefties seeing as how your two top righties are solid. Don't know how Colorado is struggling so bad with such a good core

No considering Faulk is more valuable and his position is in higher demand

Agree with John and Pavel. Trouble with trading Duchene, is a "contending" team would love him but how to fit in his 6m salary. And teams with cap, and not contenders (like Carolina), do they really want to give up "too much" for a guy who be a UFA in 2.5m years. And the Avs would seem to want immediate help and futures.

I think Duchene for Hanifin and a 2nd or 3rd rounder would be more appropriate - but Duchene's a proven 30 goal scorer, so maybe 2nd AND 3rd rounder...

CAR not ready to give up on Hanifin so I wouldn't even consider putting him in a mock trade like it was suggested by Ky
