Description

Chicago dump Krugers Cap hit so they can sign Panarin. The goat can play the forth line. Polak for TVR gives them some toughness on the back end. Chicagos prospects don't really stand out but Schmaltz is the guy I would go after for taking on krugers 3x3. Also it will give the leafs a mid 20s Center who can play hard minutes. Better then Smith. Lindberg is a throw in.

I don't see goodness to this. The Leafs are high on Lindberg and I think Babcock likes Gauthier given the amount of crucial draws they gave him the other night. Amongst all forwards, he had the best faceoff percentage and that was against a faceoff monster like the Ducks. Lindberg isn't' just a throw in, not by a long shot. Don't want TVR anyways, he blocks a lot of shots but that's all that's special about him

Schmaltz is very good. I'd prefer if he was a LW but he's the best prospect they have. I'd take a pick to if people want more for taking 3years of 3mm 4th line Kruger.
