I have DET protecting Hronek, Cholowski & Lindstrom in the expansion draft with Seattle selecting Stecher, might as well protect your prospects!

Stecher is a very good defensemen. He is extremely underrated. In this situation (Cholowski was traded during the season) I protected Him, Hronek, and Dunn. Next season wings have Seider, Hronek, and Stecher on the right side D. Would be very hard for Lindstrom to break into that group and he doesn't have a very high ceiling as it is. He is not a big loss.

The rumored asking price for Dunn is a 1st round pick. This return is about equal to that if not higher.

Might be a bit high but it would take a lot too move a guy making 6 mil for two years in this climate... Look how much it was going to take TBL to move Johnson and he is still an effective player. He had 4 years on his contract but still

Sorry, should have looked at the trades more closely! I do think the Wings should pursue Dunn and the trade value you have is almost spot on.

The "rumor" is lazy unsubstantiated clickbait that the purveyors almost immeditaely moved on from after Dunn returned to the line-up a game later. And even if the Blues were interested in trading him, it wouldn't happen during this season. And even if they were interested in trading him after the season, a middling 2nd and a vastly inferior LD (a position where the Blues are overloaded right now) is NOT about equal to a 1st. Pretty much every interested team could easily top that offer. In other words, zero chance this happens.

Yeah but it’s way simpler to just buy out Neal’s contract than to trade 2 first rounders to get rid of it.
