I don’t think that the Bs make any moves to add any kind of long term $ until Pasta and McAvoy get locked up to their next big deals. I think that’s also a large part of why they never really showed any interest in bringing Krug back. Assuming 88 and 73 get somewhere in the $18-22 mil range for their deals, there’s not a lot left over for another big $ player

Also laine is basically useless if he isn’t the primary shooter on the top powerplay. That job belongs to pastrnak.
