Thoughts:
* After watching scrimmage games, Brome stood out. I think he's earned a spot on this club.
* Helm, Ryan sound like they're out due to Covid precautions.
* Svechnikov appears to be injured indefinitely.
* Helm and Ryan being out means Nielsen probably squeaks into roster for first game.
* Guessing that Djoos will be scratched for Game 1 until he gets practices in.

Taxi Squad is pretty guess-heavy. Wings got a lot of 4th line/ bottom-pair defensemen clogging everything up. Good luck on figuring that out, Yzerman.

Looks pretty good I'd much rather see Ryan in over Neilson.

Yeah with helm and ryan probably out I think your close. The bottom 6 may swap around a little but I like brome on that 3rd line. Staal and stecher have been together alot in camp so I think theyre together and dekeyser with lindstrom or biega on the 3rd pair. Id want to ease dekeyser back in a bit, watch his minutes to start.

If Lindstrom isn't on this opening night roster, there is a problem. In every one of the intra-squad games, he was easily one of, if not THE best defensive defensemen on the ice, by a long shot. He looked quicker than last season and I think there's an offensive upside there too that we haven't seen before. I'd rather see him in, over Merrill and probably on the top PK unit.
