Players can waive a no movement clause if they want to.
I assumed he would wave it to play for a historical original 6, in a brand new building and to win a cup, which with this lineup I think the wings have a decent chance

Mr Ken "hardly ever make a trade" Holland would never do this so in Holland's over 20 years as Red Wings GM he has made only 23 trades fewest of any GM period. Would love Benn but not at that cost consideing that we're more of a bottom dweller then top dweller and we will need those picks.

You have to joking. Dallas is closer to winning a Cup than Detroit.. Brand new building, so what...It's still Detroit. And isn't he from Vancouver...Dallas seems looks more hometown than Detroit. Original 6, well I can remember, but when was Benn born about 1988. The original six don't mean much to him I presume. Weak
