trying to determine Roslovic value

Description

Considering the possibility of Danault and Tatar leaving next year I think it's safe to say that Roslovic will have a chance to compete for a top 6 spot. It can be either as a winger or at center depending of KK's performance if he's ready to take on the 2C spot. Yes, this year he would have pretty much the same role that he has in Winnipeg but he would play on a 3rd line of a very balanced team and I think he would form one hell of a line with KK and Toffoli.

As for the Jets, I remember I've read reports saying that Armia style of play was missed. He would come back and take the exact spot same spot occupied by Roslovic on the 3rd line and with around pretty much the same salary Roslovic would've signed. I chose Guhle because of Winnipeg's obvious need at defense. Will he be ready this year ? I really don't think so, but watching him at the WCJ is interesting. Lot of potential that in the long run can turn out to be more than what Roslovic will become.

I know this doesn't make the team cap compliant, it was more of getting a shot a Roslovic value. I had other thing in mind but this is it for the moment.

Thoughts on that ?

I thought about Poehling but I think his value is at his lowest right now. Chose Guhle because it fills Jets need at mid-long term but also because of all our defensive prospects coming in and I think we have a lot of good ones. So yeah me too I would be kind of sad letting him go but I think the habs are now in position to make such trade prospect wise.

I would definitely prefer doing this trade but would the Jets take it ? I mean apart from Poehling first NHL game where he scored a hat trick, he proved nothing. Roslovic played 2 complete season at NHL level and put up some reasonable stats.

I think the Jets probably want close to a 1 for 1 swap, so their roster doesn’t become too much worse after trading him.
Maybe Armia and a later round pick? If MTL was trading Guhle for Roslovic, it’d be WPG that would have to add imo
