Time to fix some things around here!!!

Description
Montreal s in a bit of a pickle when it comes to cap space, and with Pacioretty not contributing much offensively right now, the Canadiens can get cap space which they desperately need to resign Galchenyuk to a $6-$7M deal when his contract is up. He currently makes $2.8M.

And they still make out with 2 premium picks and a low B or high C level player in Girgensons.

Also it makes it so the Canadiens have one less good player to worry about protecting in the expansion draft.

I'm very much a sabres fan, no way they trade Patches for that.

Have you seen the way he has played the last 50-60 games? It hasn't been that good, trust me, I watch a lot of Canadiens games, ever since he has had the C on his jersey he don't seem to have the same drive that he used to. And I think that his production has gone down because he is not the only star player on the team now, but on Buffalo he would be "the man".

If I had to I would definitely be willing to give up a bit more to get him, maybe switch one of the 2nd round picks to our 2019 1st round pick and add kasdorf or something like that.

Zack: I'm not sure how Patches would feel "as the man" in Buffalo. You think he would be behind Eichel in status and would be the 6th highest paid forward with the Sabres.

Hasn't been good???? He's a 60 point getter the last 3 seasons.... Your trying to trade the Sabres garbage to a playoff team for one of their star players. Youre going to have to start with Reinhart or Nylander and work your way up from there....
