I would rather trade JVR for Tanev, our center depth isn't good enough to deal Kadri

Would be more open to trading picks and prospects for Tanev in an ideal world

I think you're absolutely correct in your assessment of the Leafs trade. Maybe the Canucks could get a better return in a trade with a "contender" who might really need Tanev immediately. If the Canucks are going to rebuild, multiple near NHLers on ELCs should be their shopping list.

I doubt teams do those deals.

Pass on Kadri.

They only type of center we need is a future top line center. One we'd have to more than likely have to draft.

Trade Tanev for prospects and picks. He'd get us a pretty good return.
