Winnipeg wouldn't. It creates more problems than it solves

WPG rejects. They already have Morrissey and with Samberg no need for another LD. Plus WPG needs top centers and Frost won't be as good as Scheifele.

I’m in the minority here 10000%

I made a post about Jets needing a culture change, it seems like Chevy has no sense of direction for the team. Like are they going all in?? No he’s not really making any moves to do that, it’s more like he just wants them to be a team battling for the wildcard spot. They need to make a choice now what they need to do. In my opinion, they either need to just commit to being all in now, or start a quick rebuild. I honestly think the flyers should say no to this before wpg should. Flyers would lose a lot of d depth without provorov. They already have Hayes, Couturier and Giroux that can all play in the top 6. You have to play Hayes in a top 6 role with his contract. I do think the Jets also decline but it’s a lot closer than some will think.

Thanks for the Winnipeg side of it. I don't think nor would I want the Flyers to do this. I asked only because the Flyers recently said they need more scoring and I know Winnipeg is looking for defense.

Peg is weak at center and has Heinola and Samberg at LHD...

PHI declines, Provorov is a young number 1 dman, leading the team in icetime, plays PK, ES, PP. Hes a beast, and hes just 23 yrs old.

PHI doesn't need scheifle, with coots/hayes/frost/Patrick/laughton/Giroux all at center. Sure Mark isn't old at 27, but provorov is 23! Overall I think its a loss for PHI, but a loss for a player they don't need.

WPG fans should jump at this, a 23 yr old number 1 dmen signed reasonably long term do not get traded.

I'm not sure why people think PHI needs offense, they are stocked at forward, but just misfired/looked disjointed in playoffs. Need scoring? Giroux, Coots, Voracek, Hayes, TK, a healthy Lindl;bom, JVr, farabee, patrick that's 9 scoring forwards, each of which could score 20 or more goals based on icetime! You think the lineup above needs Schiefle more than Provorov? Needs scoring?

When scheifele is at his best he is a borderline top 5C in the league. He is the last guy the Jets need to move on from, although admittedly he hasn’t been there recently
