If they offered that contract to Trouba the Jets would decline and take the 4 First round picks. This in turn would make it very hard for Carolina to make deals with other teams because they don't like when teams dip in the RFA pool to steal players. For me the Jets would be laughing all the way to the Draft

Hard pass on that Avs trade. Not enough for Landy, and Compher is a solid prospect. Skinner doesnt have the value that Landy does for the Avs and Compher is a much higher regarded prospect than Zykov.

Trouba is nowhere near worth $7 million per, Even on an offer sheet Chevy might not match and i don't see Trouba wanting to commit to Carolina. Especially seeing that Carolina more then likely could go to Quebec City as location move. And Trouba wants no part of Canada.

you really keep on sayign he deosnt want any part of Canada yet that is just internet forum speculation. All he and his agent has said the trade request is about usage and role. You can read all you want into his request of not wanting to be in winnipeg, and it may be true deep down, but there is nothing saynig he wouldnt sign in Canada. He or his agent have never come out and said that.
