This will be the roster

Description
Kulak played really well in the playoffs and Winnipeg should jump to get him so cheap and at a good price

I think either ottawa or detriot could use and he is cheap and only one year...

If Bergevin wants to keep kulak then i think he has to trade Byron in order to get the cap to work.

doesn;'t matter who gets him but we need the cap space and Byron would be harder to move.

I dislike getting into online debates but I really disagree with your statement. A player must bring you something. But you stated "he's better than half your rostered dman". Is he better than Weber or Petry? absolutely not. Romanov was not there. Chiarot brings some nasty, hitting, and solid d-zone gap control. Half of six players is 3. I just placed Weber, Petry & Chiarot ahead of Kulak. Kulak played an entire season and got only 7 apples and no gino's. Is he a puck moving d-man, not really. Yes he does have some above average skating but not in the top tier of the league. Does he hit hard? no. Is he good on PP? no. Is he good on PK? he's okay but not amazing. It is not that I dislike him and yes he is a good guy but with the arrival of both Edmundson and Romanov, Kulak has now become expendable. Do you keep him as your 7th d-man? perhaps but he is definitely not better than half the d-men on the roster as per your statement.

Furthermore rankings last season in hits of all d-men in league: Petry #6 with 177, Chiarot #14 with 152, Edmundson #28 with 118, Weber #32 with 112, Fleury #48 with 102 and Kulak #125 with 59.

Beaulieu will be 7th defensemen, jets will only acquire a solid top 4 d at this point

true but 4 is where kulak played in these last playoffs... however if winnipeg want to pay 5 mil they can get Hamonic to be fourth... but Kulak can do that for 1.85 mil which makes money-sense for a team like winnipeg.

And Forbort played top 4 with Doughty, so with that thinking they'll just slide him in there

true but kulak did well in the playoffs where it matters but hey i don't need to sell him to you so to speak ... we would prefer to keep him and we will if we find the cap room because we like him in montreal
